VIDEOS ABOUT FEUDALISM AND MEDIEVAL CHURCH for 2nd ESO

We have also studied about the life in a Monastery - Monacal life. Remember monasteries were self- sufficient, so they were like little villages where monks and nuns lived working and praying (ora et labora) during all their lives.

Enjoy watching the videos and learn as much as you can!

Into the great Silence El gran silencio.

I think life in a monastery is very hard, as the monks are carpenters, artisans ...
I do not like that kind of life, but I like the cloister where the monks are walking, because it is very nice and big.

inma: I believe that it is another type of different life. The monks take a life of isolation and prayer, this is good for the spirit, though it is hard.

The monks were just geniuses, knew how to do carpentry, tailors ... What I like is the clergy but I would be locked up.

Hello!
I think monks were very important in the middle ages, because they helped to other people, and performed in many jobs, for example shoemaker,carpenter...
But they not worked in agriculture, in the agriculture worked peasants.
I think this life was very rutine and boring.
