Hola a todos aquí os dejo el modelo de comentario de texto que vimos en clase y el texto a continuación:

TEXTO:
Somos un pueblo de 21 a 22 millones de hombres, conocidos desde tiempo inmemorial con un mismo nombre -el pueblo italiano-; vivimos entre los límites naturales más precisos que Dios haya trazado jamás -el mar y las montañas más altas de Europa-; hablamos la misma lengua,(...) tenemos las mismas creencias, las mismas costumbres y hábitos, (...) nos sentimos orgullosos del más glorioso pasado político, científico y artístico que se ha conocido en la historia europea (...).
No tenemos ni bandera, ni nombre político, ni un puesto entre las naciones europeas (...) Estamos desmembrados en ocho Estados (...) independientes unos de otros, sin alianza, sin unidad de destino, sin relación organizada entre ellos (...). No existe libertad ni de prensa, ni de asociación, ni de palabra, (...); nada. Uno de estos Estados que comprende la cuarta parte de la península, pertenece a Austria: los otros padecen ciegamente su influencia.

THE MARKET ECONOMY for 3rd ESO

This week  we are doing a task about Market Economy. Previously in class we learnt about the different types of economic systems in the World. subsistence, communist, and capitalist  system.

A capitalist or  market economic system is a type of economic system where supply and demand regulate the economy. In a market economy most of the decisions are made by buyers and sellers, not by the goverment. Free competition and private ownership are guaranteed.

Although market economy has advantages, such as a higher quality of products and lower prices because of competition, it also has many disadvantages, such as difficulties for poor people, and greed as a principle of the economy.

TASK

1. Go to the site of the North Korea Government and explore the "bussiness" part the differences between a market and planned economy.

List three aspects which shows that it is a planned economy.

Population and settlement power point



Population pyramids show the structure of the population. A high base reflects the high birth rate, and a narrower base shows a decline in the birth rate. Here you can see the evolution of China and Europe  in their population pyramids from 1950 to 2040. Initially the base was wider but then the base becomes narrower and therefore life expectancy grows.

VIDEOS ABOUT FEUDALISM AND MEDIEVAL CHURCH for 2nd ESO

Durantes estas semanas hemos estado trabajando en clase la Edad Media y más concretamente el sistema feudal. Hemos estudiado la importancia que la Iglesia Católica tuvo durante toda la Edad Media, especialmente los monasterios y también hemos estudiado jerarquía eclesiástica (Pope, Archbishop, Bishop and priets) y la diferencia entre éste clero secular/ secular clergy y clero regular / regular clergy (Monjes, monjas, abades, priores...)

We have also studied about the life in a Monastery - Monacal life. Remember monasteries were self- sufficient, so they were like little villages where monks and nuns lived working and praying (ora et labora) during all their lives.
